StratDev Digital Marketing is looking for a dynamic and qualified individual to join our in-house team at our full-stack digital marketing agency as a copywriter. The position is a contractorship, is paid on a per-project basis, ongoing, and is entirely remote. This position is deadline oriented, with no set schedule (with the exception of one, 30-minute call each week to synchronize with the rest of the team).

Who We Are Looking For
The right person will be a dynamic and versatile copywriter who is capable of creating blog content pertaining to a variety of different industries. As a digital marketing agency with clients across the spectrum, these can range from ecommerce stores, SaaS tools, medical spas, mobile apps, service providers and many more. These blogs will be written with the specific purpose to compliment our SEO strategies, and will either be posted directly on the clients’ site, or on high-traffic blog channels across the web, as well as use search engine optimization strategies to write blog content that helps boost a website's search engine ranking. These blogs must consider things such as keyword density/prominence, tone, style, and readability in an effort to organically elevate a website's placement across search engines.
We are looking for someone who thrives in an "all hands on deck" startup environment, loves solving people's problems, and takes pride in the results that they drive for clients. We are a tight-knit, dynamic team, and are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a company with a fun culture and a great attitude!
What You’ll do:
Each of these tasks will be required on a per project basis - different clients will require different scopes of work. You will have full access to our [login to view URL] writing assistant tool, allowing you to streamline the actual content creation process tremendously.
Writing SEO friendly blog posts between 500-1000 words optimized for clients to publish internally on their websites, keeping in mind the tone, operations, and objectives of each.
Writing keyword rich, SEO friendly blog posts between 500-750 words for the StratDev SEO team to publish externally (also known as guest posts) on high traffic blog channels, optimized for keyword usage, and SEO Best practices.
Creating “spin-off” blog posts, based on existing internal content, optimized for external posting and traffic acquisition towards the source content.
Optimizing existing blog content before posting for maximum SEO efficacy (backlink addition,keyword inclusion, page titles, meta descriptions, headings, alt tags, anchor text, etc.)
Press release writing and optimizations
Formulating blog topic ideas by researching trending topics within a client’s industry, as well as blog creation based on pre-selected topics.
Other related duties as assigned
