Program 6, practice with arrays

For this program you are to design and implement a processing sketch (program) that draws an interesting picture, presents an interesting animation, and/or interacts with the user in an interesting way. The choice is yours. However, in addition to using functions and loops appropriately (as in the previous assignments) you must also use arrays meaningful ways. Some example ideas are: a set stars in fixed positions twinkling while the moon moves across the sky, a school of fish swimming around at sea, or a bunch of colorful beach balls bouncing in a rectangle.
This program is a pair programming assignment and is due at 11:55 pm on Saturday,
Grading (out of 10 pts):
Required:
• 3 pts for good comments/style in a full, non-trivial program, including:
◦ good opening comments with the author's names and accounts,
a description of what the program is supposed to do, and any acknowledgements
◦ block comments in front of every function describing what the parameters mean and what the function does
◦ block comments at the beginning of every class indicating what they provide
◦ good use of blank lines
◦ in-line comments describing what parts of the program do, especially any tricky code
◦ meaningful variable, function, and class names
◦ good indentation
◦ good (meaningful and intuitive) class structure
◦ following the standard submission procedure with pair programming logs
• 1 pts for good use of functions and local variables
◦ functions are not too long
◦ functions use parameters and local variables rather than global variables
• 2 pts for using x-location and a y-location arrays to keep track of the positions of a bunch of things, and using for-loops to display and/or update the things.
• 1 pts for using additional arrays to keep track of more information about the things (like speed or color)
• 1 pt for passing arrays as arguments/parameters to functions
• 1 pt for using another group of arrays to keep track of a bunch of another kind of thing
• 1 pt grader discretionary for going beyond the above minimums and/or creating a particularly pleasing sketch. This could be for very pretty pictures, complicated scenes, interesting ideas, user interaction, etc.
