The first 2 programmers hired on scriptlance did not finish the project and all said this is harder than I expected it would be.
I need somebody who is good with inventory, and Mark Up percentages.
I have an exact formula which is required for recording the auction fees aquired within this online video game. I have code and DB started for the first 2 programmers if you wish to finish what they started or start over from scratch.

Inventory and Mark Up percentages will make this easier.
I have spent days trying to explain to the first 2 programmers the formulas required to calculate the data. The users enter very little data and the database calculates all the rest of the numbers. The reports must look like the oct excel file.

PLEASE READ EVERYTHING:

This is very complex and it has to be programmed exactly or it's a total waste of time.

I need the following:
1. MySQL DB
2. Several PHP Pages for the website.
3. This DB/PHP will need the following pages to allow my to view reports which you will also program for my sales that take place within an online video game.
4. the following pages are needed to contain all the information I will need to have entered and also you will probably need a few more pages for backend coding etc.

Admin control panel: this handles adding new users, adding products and adding sub categories. Products each have a fixed price assigned to them. Each user will have access to only their inventory and sales entered. The will record sales and inventory from the master product list which admin creates.

Record sales - drop down product selection enter qty and price sold - that's it.

Add Inventory - drop down product selection enter qty and price paid - that's it.

Preview Page - drop down product selection enter qty and price sold that's it. This page will generate the profit, MU% and show me all the numbers that I would need to see and let me know what my profit would be if I posted an auction with this numbers.

View/edit inventory - shows users their inventory and allows them to edit/delete if they have entered the wrong data.

Reports - want 3 pre set reports, 1,7 and 30 day reports.
I also want a drop down product and data range to run a report at any time for any product and show me my sales. At the bottom of the report I want totals for that report ran. I want my money amount to add up and show me the total sales.

I am going to attach several excel files to show you what I need for each page. The highlighted columns are what each php page needs to contain.

Basically your going to program a website using php and mysql to transfer what I did in excel to the web. Inventory, Sales, Reports etc. View Mysql.doc to get a overview of what I want and need.
Also view oct excel file to see all the data required.
Some data will be enter on some php pages and stored and used to calculate later on the reports.

Keep in mind, I have wasted almost 3 months time trying to get 2 people to program this, I am not going to be patient with the 3rd. Either you can do this and get it done fast and accurate or you can't so don't even try to bid.

Communication is key, I know most bids will come from India which is fine, but you need to speak english and have a good understanding of inventory and Mark up and percentages and math formluas or this is going to end bad.

I like some of the features that's programmer 2 is doing but the calculations I are not correct and I have not even seen a reports page in a months time. I would like this done in a week if possible and the budget is pretty small. This is not to make money with, it's to track sales for an online video game and it's in game auction feature.
