The University of San Francisco seeks an independent contractor with experience serving non-profit agencies to develop and maintain a website for the San Francisco Teacher Residency (SFTR).
Scope of work
Phase one- Winter 2012 to fall 2012
• Design and build an original, attractive, user friendly website that can serve as an interface between the program and potential applicants as well as people seeking information about the program. Website features should include, but not be limited to:
o Ability for applicants to complete and submit the program's supplemental application
o Ability for program staff and support providers to access key documents for download such as assessment tools and timesheets
o Ability to sync with an open source data management system such as civiCRM
o Ability to link with multiple organizations such as partner universities and funders
o Ability to be updated by program staff
• Transfer existing data from the program's current website, which is housed within the website of a local non profit.
• Provide routine maintenance for website, including support for program staff who are updating or managing information on the site.
Phase two- Winter 2013 to spring 2014
• Further develop website to add features including, but not limited to:
o Ability for program staff and support providers to complete and submit key program documents such as assessment tools and timesheets
o Ability to house interactive communication tools such as discussion boards
• Provide routine maintenance for website, including support for program staff who are updating or managing information on the site.
Interested parties can apply by submitting a bid that includes an itemized proposal detailing their costs for completing both phases of the project. Proposals should be submitted by Friday, February 24, and should include information about the applicant's organization and references.
