We are looking for a Linux system admin to help setup, configure and maintain web services and databases of our new projects. We want to work with a single person, not a team/firm.
Requirements:
-5+ years linux administration
-mysql database optimization
-on call for emergencies
-experience securing servers (firewalls, etc)
Please bid your hourly rate, and tell us about your general linux admin skills and how many years experience you have.
The work will initially be small, requiring your help occasionally, but could develop into a long term position. You will bill us for your time and we will pay by the hour.
