Website Developement +Custom Backoffice – (PHP) + Blog engine + Custom DMS (PHP)

VIDEOS:
The videos will be played on the site using flash (same as for example youtube), this practically means converting
to .FLV format and displaying in a flash video player and will be downloaded in the original format (avi. Media
Player…)

1. "Accomplishments"
1.1. Is this technically "articles" section? One list of "articles" and upon clicking, one article opens in full, right? Yes. Sort of like a list of news and article about events.
1.2. There will be a title and description? Anything else? Maybe date of an accomplishment? Title, Description, date, pictures…

2. Digital Library
2.1. Will this be a single-level list of documents? Just a list, sorted by date? Or categorized/tagged somehow? The digital library should be sorted by date, subject and kind (videos, pictures, documents..).
2.2. So, administrator will add an article specifying its type: - Document or - Photo or - Video. Right? Yes
2.3. For a "photo" library item - will this be 1 photo or a gallery of photos? Please give me the possibility to add a gallery of photos or a single photo.
2.4. So, each library item will have: - Title, -Description, -Synopsis (?) and uplodable Image or uploadable Document or uploadable Video file? Is it right? Yes, assuming date is automatically generated.
2.5. For video files. Will these be .AVI files or .FLV files? If .AVI then will we give them to be downloaded or show them on the site in flash player? This question is essential for technical part. Please specify for me if there is a possibility of converting all existing videos to .AVI and they should be then shown on the website or downloadable, an extra feature that administrator can decide.

3. On image-template you have there:
3.1. News and announcements (You didn't describe this section. Please describe its functionality) A series of news and announcements added with a title, small description (appearing on main page) in addition to a possibility of reading the entire article with more text and photos.

3.2. Join our Mailing list (You didn't describe this section. Please describe)
A quarterly pdf newsletter will be sent to all subscribers. This sections allows us to gather email data.

4. Search website. Should the search look through for all webiste items - in library, in blog, in news, everywhere? Or only what? Yes it should search in everything or in either specifically.

5. Will there be several administrators with different rights or only one administrator? Several administrators all with rights to add articles or pictures and edit copy and website content.

6. Users system
6.1. Where do users sign up? Maybe admin adds them?
On the top right part, there is a possibility for all users to access the website and administrators to edit and access website back-office with their additional rights.
6.2. Where do users log in? I couldn't find it anywhere
6.3. What information user need to enter when he will sign up or be signed up? Name, Email, Password, Enything else? Info required is first and family name, email, address, phone number, would they want to receive our newsletter)
7. Blog
7.1. This will be one blog for whole site, not several blogs for each user?
One blog for all the website.
7.2. How should one blog entry look and what should it contain?
The blog would act like a clog forum where administrators can upload messages, videos and articles and users can upload comments. Administrators on the other hand should have the possibility to edit/delete user comments. What we want to use the blog for is a way of posting recent articles and videos and then archiving them in our digital library so that users will always be checking the blog and using the website as a solid archive/reference platform.
