    My hosting company did some kind of update and now I am not receiving copies of the welcome

    e-mail when someone creates an account, order confirmation emails or order update emails. It also

    used to send a copy of emails from the contact us form to a different email address so if

    something happened at my server I would be sure to get ALL of the above emails to a personal

    email address. I was also using my cell number @sms.mycricket.com to have it send a copy of the

    order confirmation to my cell phone.

    When contacting the hosting company they said they had recently implemented a new spam protection

    feature. Incoming messages for the server are first delivered to another server, the sole purpose

    of which is to filter incoming e-mails for spam, based on certain rules.

    They said that notification messages that should arrive to my email addresses are matching a rule

    on the remote server that filters incoming messages, thus are not delivered. The matched rule

    says that a message can not have more than 1 "to recipient" entry.

    Their suggestion is to redesign the messages so that the extra recipients are not added as "to

    recipient" entries, but use the "Cc" or "bcc" option instead.

    Then they came back and said the following - What you can try as a workaround is to add your

    administrative email address in the list of additional emails where Order confirmation emails

    should be sent. You can do so via the Store Configuration -> "Send Extra Order Emails To".
    (I deleted my personal email address and cell phone email address and added the admin email

    address to the "Send Extra Order Emails To" in the admin of the site and now I only receive a

    copy of the order email)

    I tried to do what they said at the link above but I am not very good with the code and it didn't

    work right so I put it back how it was?

    As of right now I have a test account and entered an order on the website and I did receive the

    order confirmation email. I also received a copy of the order confirmation email at the admin

    email address. When I look at the email I received the To line says <sales@mysite.com>;;

    <sales@mysite.com>; so to me it looks like I should have received 2 copies of the email but one

    was blocked? When I updated the order status and entered a tracking number or even if I do not

    enter any comments I receive no emails at either email address when updating the order

    status.(Both customer and admin email address should be receiving a copy of the email).

    Now I entered another test order and received an email to the admin email address but there was

    no email sent to the customers email address.

    Copies of the rejected email with the script name of where they came from keep showing up in the default email account so I think you can see exactly where the changes need to be made.I am pretty sure it is only 1 or 2 lines of code in the following files checkout_process.php, admin/orders.php, create_account.php, contact_us.php?
