I have a project that will produce Sony XD-CAM HD 1080I (1920x1080) video files in native Sony XDCAM format (MP4). I want a program that will convert these files to a file to play in iMovie on a MAC. I assume this will be a Quicktime wrapper.

The interface must be simple to use:
1) load automatically on a MAC
2)find the XDCAM HD file on the local computer
3) Process the file and make it playable in the MAC iMovie program (MP4 MOV). The client will need to be able to edit/save the file in iMovie.

This must be an integrated program. Nothing extra to install.

I can supply a Sony XD-CAM HD file for testing purposes.

If an existing video encoder program such as Imagemagick or Rosetta is to be used in the program, it must be available for full license for resale and use as my client will include the converter with their product.
