We want to create a great user experience for our daily deal concept. The site will have to look nice and flows logically.
Business concept:
We want to offer 1-3 products a day at a great price but in limited quantity and with an expiration of 24 hours. We are looking for professional web developers to develop a daily deals website. We would like the website to have the looks of Woot!, with customized functions to suit our purpose as a daily deals website that sells tangible goods. The concept is similar to Woot.com or Groupon.com.
Product elements:
The listing page will show the products name, original price, deal price, one or more pictures of the product, and a short description of the product, as well as the overall %age stock remaining represented by a bar. The number of items left should never be displayed.
It will be essential for us to be able to add at least 14 listings on the back end of the site, ready to go live in sequence. It must be impossible for users of the site to find or buy listings that are not the current listing.
An 'Account' section of the site would contain details of all previous orders by users, and their status - 'Ordered', 'Shipped' or 'Returned'.
A standard user pipeline would look like:
Users receives an email on the daily deals (optional)
Users visits the site to view the deal
Product gets allocated once user clicks ‘buy now'
User has 4-6 minutes to either set up an account or login previous account
User confirms personal and payment details
Users' credit card is charged
User is transferred back to site for confirmation
User receives an email with a personalized invoice.
Required from you:
Have experience in designing successful e-commerce websites. We are looking for a long term relationship with the developer as we will need updates and maintenance of the website system and services.
Please only bid if you are totally sure that you can build a complete website like woot.com or groupon.com, including our required additional features. Strong preferences for those who already have a working social buying script/site.
We would like to be able to see a demo of the website prior to completion, so that we may check the functionality and features. We appreciate your sample live websites or Demos.
The website would also have to be suitably secure, to avoid the theft of funding credits, and to protect private user data. - Tags:
