We would like to create travel guide pages with the ability to have seperate adspace. So when you click on that guide, different adspaces will appear that are independent of the landing page adspaces. The guide pages will also have unique urls for each destination (ie www.yoursite.com/newyork
each guide page will have clickable links to business lists (6 different types)
(example http://www.frommers.com/destinations/miami/) the business lists also need to be sortable for each catagory (4 different catagories) and selectable for a trip planner (suitcase) (example of suitcase http://www.yellowstonepark.com/MyTripBuilder/Default.aspx)
the trip planner can be shared with fellow members, shared on facebook, printed, saved or they can click "get more info" and it will automatically email them with information or specials on the places they select. So in the admin for each business we can input additional information,coupons, if any that will be emailed automatically.

This feature will be for members only, so they will need to be logged into the site.

Step 1) Beach Guide menu creation
First step would be to create a menu page (linked to from the top menu), that has all the states (dynamic list we can change the order of) listed with public ocean beaches (that I can input those in)
Next step would be to create a menu page that has all the beaches listed in that state (dynamic list we can change the order of) (that I can input in) that will be linked from the state menu page
After a beach is clicked it goes to a unique content page (beach guide)
Step 2) Beach guide creation
Each beach guide will have its own adspace (so we can plug in ads that are unique to that page and the front page ads will not show)
Each beach guide will have an “add to trip planner” button
Each beach guide will have a “like or dislike” button, and what percentage of people who clicked liked that beach.
A small side menu that either links to parts of that page or the business directory for that particular beach and business category.

Guides will also have a “map it” link to show the location of the beach on a Google map.
Step 3) Beach business directory (example http.//www.frommers.com/destinations/miami/17_inddin.html )
Each time a business category is clicked on the menu, that directory is displayed in the content area of the beach guide (instead of the original content)
Directories are specific for each beach.
Directories are. Places to stay, Dining, Nightlife, Shopping, Attractions, Nature, Surf spots, Watersports, Culture, Shopping
Each directory will have these categories. Name, Type, Location, Price, rating, like/dislike clickable buttons (or radio button), add to trip planner button (or radio button) (the like/dislike and trip planner features are both for members only), and percentage of users who clicked like
Each directory category will be sortable
Each directory listing will linkable to a new page for more information about the listing
When the new page opens, it will have two tabs, one for display further info for each entry (but each info will only display if inputted otherwise that particular entry won’t show. (should be set up just like this http.//www.frommers.com/destinations/chicago/N29869.html)
Address, phone/fax, website, fan page, Price, hours, room info, amenities, parking

Step 3) Beach Rankings
Clicking on that will link to a beach survey that will have 4 columns. Category, Beachmonkey rating, User rating, my rating
Categories are. Traffic, Public Transportation, Biking/walking, Sand Color, Sand Quality, Cleanliness of beach, Access to beach, Parking near beach, Pests on beach, Facilities on beach, Width at high tide, crowds, safety on beach, Cleanliness of ocean, Color of ocean, Clarity of ocean, Water temp, Safety in ocean, Weather in peak season, weather off season, Overall costs, accommodations, Dining, Nightlife, Shopping, Nature, Culture, attractions, surfing, water sports, shell collecting, shopping, safety of city.
Each category can be rated by members 1-5 stars (in ½ star increments)
The user rating is the average of all member ratings.
Beachmonkey rating is 1-5 stars (in ½ star increments) that is input on the backend
Step 4) like and dislike buttons
For members only just like Facebook
Member can click like or dislike button on any directory listing
It will add up all likes and dislikes and display on that listing what percentage liked that place (minimum of 10 clicks) in that places listing box

Beaches, or anything in the directories can be added to the trip (even on different guides)
“Trip planner” will be on top menu, with a drop down that has. My Trips, plan new trip
Plan new trip page will allow user to name their trip, and begin adding things to that list.
Clicking “my trips” will list currently created trips.
Trips can be viewed or deleted by clicking a radio button and either selecting those two choices at the bottom of the page.
When clicking “view”, user can see all the things they selected listed out with the same information as listed on the directory (ie name, location, type, etc)
User can modify that list by clicking a radio button (clicking select all button will fill all radio buttons) and clicking delete.
User can print list but clicking “print button”
User can share list on any social sites like facebook by clicking “share” button
User can be emailed coupons, more info, etc by clicking the “send me more info” button (receive discounts, coupons and freebees should be written underneath)
Step 6) Email messaging system from trip planner “send me more” info button
Automatically emails anything we have on file for that business to user, such as coupons, discounts, freebees, etc.
