  • Description:
I am looking for someone who can setting up a simple VPN configuration on Debian Lenny. (prefer OpenVPN)

The dedicated root-server should be used as gateway. So all outbound connections from the VPN server should be allowed.

I use OpenVPN too, because: 1) Stable (I use it more free years) 2) Can emulate network card (used for broadcasting protocols as netbios ) 3) Secure - 3DES encryption 4) More one method of authentication users (user/pass, certificates, external plugins: radius, pam, mysql). 5) Can send clients static routes! Don't need change default gateway on you server

Hi, I have done this multiple times on various gateways. IPCop, Custom Gentoo gateways and also ubuntu and centos (SME Server) gateways. Always using open vpn. I can have this done nice and quickly if you like. Please make sure the local networks / subnets on each site are different (a common thing that is overlooked) if its a network to network vpn. This can cause big problems! Cheers Neil
