I have a lot o of MS Word documents I need to fill with repetitive data, so I need an application to auto fill them. But not only that.

I want that aplication to generate a mini aplcation, for every form, so I can work like that:

1- I create a MS Word document, with these variables: <NAME>, <ADD>, <NUMBER>.

2. I go to the application, and fill three rows of the X lines of a two rowed table with:

<NAME>
<ADD>
<NUMBER>

At the bottom of this page I press a button and choose the name of the MS Word file I'd like to fill.

3. The application generates a mini application, wich I copy into a directory, along with the MS Word file.

4. I click run that mini application, and it opens a very simple window with a two rowed table:

Name:
Address:
Number:

I fill them, I click OK, and it generates the file, in that same directory.

Is that possible?

I have a MS Word document I want automatically fulfilled, with different data, let’s say, Contract.doc.

I run the Mini App Generator, let’s call it “Fulfillment.html”, and it takes me to something like this:

Right as it starts, the Generator asks me if I want it to search for wildcards in na already existing MS Word file, so if I had a document with text bits that looked like this [[TEXT]], it would automatically extract the fields, in the order they appear, and show them to me in a screen similar to the one above. If it was OK, I’d just press “Generate!”, and it would generate the Mini App for that MS Word file.

As I don’t have the file ready, then I just start to add which wildcards the Mini App to be generated will replace.

As you can see, I can choose how many wildcards I want, by clicking on the “+” button, or exclude some specific wildcard I decide to, by clicking the “-” button.

Then I choose what MS Word file this Mini App is being generated to work with.

When I’m satisfied, I click “Generate!”.

The program works, and creates a Mini App, say Contract.html.

I go to the chosen MS Word file directory that I pointed and run the Mini App. It takes me to something like this:

In this screen, the Mini App asks me if I want to load a TXT file that contains some of the fields asked – like First Name, Last Name and Place.

The content of the TXT file would look like this:

[[NAME]]JOHN
[[LAST_NAME]]KENNEDY
[[PLACE]]WASHINGTON, DC

I f I say Yes, it opens a dialog box to find the file. If I say No, I can just start to I fill in the blanks with the data I want, and it automatically fulfills the MS Word document.

After fulfillment, App asks under what name I want to save the MS Word file. I choose the name, like “Contract Fabio.doc”, and it saves it. Next, it asks me if I want to save a TXT file with the information I just filled the blanks with. If I say Yes, it opens a dialog box, so I can choose the name and place for the file. If I say No, the blanks just clear themselves, and I can start another again.

This is the main Idea. What do you say?
