    title
    TWISTED!!!

ONE WOMAN TAKES A JOURNEY, RETRACING HER FATHERS LAST MOMENTS AND PURSUING REVENGE FOR HIM.

    SYNOPSIS
At only 22, CHARLENE MWEMA has achieved more than is expected of her age. She is a professional accountant and a qualified computer engineer. Born as the only child to SAMUEL and TAJI KARIBA. Her father is a military man and her mother a retired military housewife.
One night Charlene receives a call from her father. He has got some great news. He has just been promoted to Major General and awarded a certificate and prestigious medal for being the least corrupt official in the force. Charlene's birthday is also due and her father had called to invite her home on Saturday for a house party to celebrate both events.
Three hours later, Charlene receives another call. Her father is dead.
At home the next morning, she reads the paper and can't loose the feeling that there are too many loopholes in the whole theory surrounding her father's death.
Was it a planned murder or robbery? Where were the other three men that he had been taking home with him during the incident? Who was responsible for it and why?
These questions lead her to the verge of bitterness and she decides to avenge her father.
Three juniors (PETER, MARK and MGWANA) who worked with Samuel disappear in succession without a trace. Before all that happens Charlene's heart is torn between two men; Mgwana and Sylvester another junior in the force…..
It is a murder triangle, battle of wits set to entertain and cause a hair rising effect. One woman takes a journey, retracing her fathers last moments and pursuing revenge for him.
Three men have already gone missing. Their disappearance has been linked to Samuel Kariba's murder. The Kariba's watch guard is behind bars, yet the killer is still at large.
Charlene's and Taji's lives are in danger. Who then is the real murderer? What is his/her real motive? Were all the murders and disappearances connected?

    script 2 SHORTFALL

    PROPOSAL

Set in a rehabilitation centre in an average suburb. It tells the story of a young man trapped in the grasp of pleasing society.

When twenty-five year old TIMMY UKWAJU decides to do something for himself after a long time of pleasing his parents and society. He uses the money he is given for his school fees at the medical school to pursue his interest in music. After his parents and relatives discover his folly everyone turns on him and he is alienated.

JABALI and AZANIA (Timmy's older siblings) realize their mistake and go home to talk to their parents about it.

His dreams seem forgotten when he is dumped into a rehabilitation centre. He then meets TIARA another case of turning to drugs after a love ‘gone bad' and they develop a strong bond for each other.

Tiara goes through a phrase and she vents it all out on Timmy and thus the introduction of Viola (Tiara's sister).

Viola is a positive influence to Timmy and Tiara she stands by them and makes Timmy get the feeling of belonging.

It is a parental guidance film that tells the story of how society can sometimes push one to the brink all in the name of “wanting the best for you”. The story of two people, living two different lives yet when they meet they tend to share a connection and they thrive together.

Tiara leaves the rehab and Timmy is left all alone and he goes back to his withdrawn self.

As the story evolves, one is left to wonder. Will Timmy get better? Will he ever see Tiara again? Will his family take him back and accept his dream or will he give in to their needs?

    SYNOPSIS

Timmy has been brought up in the shadow of an achiever, a child whose parents believe in and the society expects to yield their expectations. He's a talented musician and a bright child in school. His elder siblings Jabali and Azania are average children thus do not attract much attention from the parents as he does. All his life, he has been made to believe that everything he wants, he gets unlike his siblings.

After high school, he performs exceptionally well and his parents enroll him in medical school.

It's been five years down the line, Jabali and Azania are now successful professionals and Timmy's graduation is finally here. His parents, Mr. & Mrs. Ukwaju have invited all their friends, relatives, workmates and neighbors. They have also organized a big house party for the celebration.

To their surprise, Timmy is no where to be found during the graduation and his name is not in the list of graduates. On further investigation, the truth finally dawns on them; Timmy never reported at the university. They head on home, quite shaken.

At home, they find Timmy who fearlessly states that it is true he has never been at the university. The denial, rejection and blame that everyone lets out on him is too much for him to handle. He resorts to alcohol and as a resolve the parents dump him in a rehabilitation centre.

No one knows if he will reform or not. The parents and the society have rejected him. His love of music is just a forgotten dream. The price he has to pay for wanting to follow his dream. Now he has no family, he has no dream.

At the rehabilitation centre he meets Tiara, a young lady who in one way or another is a victim of circumstance. They start a journey together. From their past, to their present and their dreams for the future. Will they really reform? Will society accept them back? Will they finally live their dreams? Is there any hope for both of them after all?
