I need someone to fix the GiftCert Extension vers. 0.9.6 to work with Magento 1.4.0.1 community Edition.

Problem Description:
I can successfully install the extension and buy a voucher, but when I try to use it, nothing happens.
I can enter the voucher code and get the message that the gift voucher was accepted, but no discounts get applied and if I continue to checkout, the voucher balance doesn't get decremented (ie. its not just a display issue).

After this job is done, i need the GiftCert extended. Will open a new Job for the choosen programmer!
