I'm looking for a mySQL database guru to help move / restore a MySQL database application to a new server. This is a large database with ~4GB worth of data.

Please note this that this isn't a simple MySQL dump. There appears to be some database issues with the present installation which will require some trouble shooting. We've tried some of the standard procedures to move the database with no luck. We also have a back-up copy of the database that was made on Feb. 1 but are having issues trying to install the DB on the new server from that back-up. Keep getting various syntax errors with the back-up.

Step 1. Analyse present database and reccomend/perform corrective action. See which tables can be moved and which tables may have issues.

Step 2. Move / install database to new server location.

Priority at this point is data preservation. If we have to rebuild database we can look at that as well.

Current server that is hosting the database is dedicated and I can provide root (WHM) and cPanel access. Second server which we would like to move the DB to is VPS with root and cPanel access (WHM, cPanel, Virtuozzo Power Panel).
