- Description: I'm looking to build a free dating website. One example that comes to mind is plentyoffish. It would be a similar type of idea. I'm looking for someone or company that would have the expertise to take on such a project? What would be the scope of such a project and what sorts of costs would be involved. My guess is that there are many dating scripts that would be similar to POF but different enough as not to infringe on how they are set up. I'd need some kind of script that could be modified to fit a few additional key features that I'd like to add. I'd be interested in reviewing detailed proposals that would cover such aspects as:
- servers / hosting and scalability
- scripting / development / off the shelf scripts
- costs / time frame
Ideally I'm seeking a company or individual that has done a project of this size and scope before so that they already know what to do in order to successfully launch this kind of site. Please email me and or provide a bid based on creating and launching a site like POF (Keeping in mind some additional work of a few minor modifications, that I will explain later). Please provide as much detail as you can based on your background in programming, experience in launching this kind of website, knowledge of the scripts and hosting requirements, understanding of the scalability that would be needed in case the membership grows, and time frame as to what would be needed.
