  • Description:
We have a rather large site that needs some SEO work. There will be 37 pages to be SEO'd. Please review the requirements below and submit a total price for a total of 37 pages.

Please note this is all onpage/onsite SEO research (no implementation). Do not submit "canned" responses on the PMB or in your bid as it will be deleted/removed. I will be able to tell if you read this project description or not. If you do not truly read the project description, I will disregard your bid.

The site you will be performing SEO on already has the pages built and live on the site. You will be evaluating the current SEO of the pages and making appropriate suggestions for on page SEO changes.

Here is the exact process we want you to perform:

    Keyword Research & Analysis

    1. Go to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
    2. Type in the keyword phrase that you would like to perform research on in the box provided.
    3. Once the results are listed, click the column labeled “Global Monthly Search Volume” to sort the results from most searched to least searched.
    4. As a general rule of thumb, I then scan the results looking at the “Advertiser Competition” column and look for results that have about 75% or less of the advertiser bar filled (high advertiser competition or less).
    5. Once I come across a phrase with that meets the above mentioned advertiser competition, I then look at the number of searches for that keyword in the “Global Monthly Search Volume” column. Ideally, I like to find words that have atleast a couple hundred searches each month.
    6. If the phrase we are looking at does have a decent volume of search each month, I then go to www.google.com to perform a brief competitive analysis for that phrase.
    7. At Google, I perform the following search:
    a. intitle:"KEYWORD PHRASE" inanchor:" KEYWORD PHRASE " intext:" KEYWORD PHRASE "
    8. When the Google search results are displayed, ideally we are looking for results of 20 or less (be sure to click the “show all results link” if one appears at the bottom of the first page of results). If the results return hundreds or thousands of results, I find another keyword phrase to search for until one meets all the above listed requirements.
    9. If the keyword meets the above criteria, make note of it in a spreadsheet along with the number of searches that are made for that term and the number of results that are displayed in Google for the search that was performed.
    10. Continue searching for terms until you have atleast 8 relevant keyword phrases that meet the criteria and listed in your spreadsheet.
    11. Once you have enough keywords listed in your spreadsheet, sort the phrases by the amount of searches per month and compare it to the amount of competing sites for the search results found from the search. Determine the order of the keywords to be used for the meta keyword tags by the ease of being ranked for based on analyzing the competing sites and monthly searches.

    Creating Meta Data

    1. To create the meta title description, select roughly the top 3-4 keyword phrases as determined by the research you performed above. Please note that the meta title should not exceed 65 characters including spaces. Separate keyword phrases with a comma. After the last keyword phrase, use a pipe “|” and then list the SITENAME for branding purposes.
    2. To create the meta keyword description, use your list of keywords in order from easiest to rank for to the most difficult and separate each keyword phrase with a comma.
    3. To create the meta description in 160 characters or less, use atleast 2-3 of the keyword phrases that were used in the page meta title to write an eye catching description of the page content.
    4. Create the H1 tag of the page to use at least one of the selected targeted keyword phrases.
    5. Incorporate a secondary keyword phrase to be used within the H2 page tags.

    Documentation

    1. Results of selected keywords from the initial research will be tracked in a spreadsheet and include the estimated monthly searches as well as our estimation of difficulty for ranking for the keyword phrase.
    2. Spreadsheet will also include a list of recommended on page changes made to the H1, H2, meta title, meta description, meta keyword tags.

    Timeframe for Completion

    1. All work must be completed within 5 days or less of being awarded the job.
