- Description: We are looking for a server side tool that will automatically place bids on Ebay. We will provide a flat data file like XLS or CSV that contains all the information needed to built the query for each item as well as the maximum price to bid. The tool will need to
* check that file daily
* query ebay for each item
* retrieve the matching auctions
* store the matches and the maximum bid in a database
* automatically place a bid on ebay shortly before the auction closes (sniping)
* keep track of some simple stats like won, didn't win, price, etc.
Important:
We want the relevant parts done using the Ebay API, and we are looking for people with at least some experience under their belt. Some understand on how ebay works won't hurt either. There will be a significant amount of queries to be processed and bids placed. Please keep this in mind when bidding on the project.
