Please only respond if you are EXTREMELY familiar and experienced using Word Press Multi User to create dynamic online communities. I need a custom theme designed for the domain, MyHomeSchoolFriends.com. The WPMU site needs to have the following functional items for it's users:

My Profile (personal profile page)
My Story (blog for each user)
My Friends (ability to add friends / network)
My Email (a private chat or email messaging service)
My Calendar / Events (personal and group calendars with permission levels)
My Book Club (some type of plug in allowing them to write reviews, share recommendations etc.)
My Favorite Sites (simple favorite links area)
My News (area for users to submit content articles to be displayed either privately to a group or publicly to all)
My Groups (ability to create both private and public groups and for these groups to belong to private or public forums and calendars)
My Forum (bulletin type forum)
My Photo Gallery (ability for users to poste, share, vote, recommend photos in a gallery setting)

All these items seem very easily achieved within WPMU and I'm looking for someone who truly understands WPMU to make the best recommendations and fits for each plug-in, layout, funcionality etc. This person / company will be responsible for creating both an aesthetically pleasing design for the site (including logo) as well as installing / coding the custom theme including navigation as outlined above. For those interested (that meet the qualifications of experience and expertise) I can provide other sites with the designs I like. Don't hesitate to ask questions or make recommendations. **** All of these items appear to be possible using buddypress theme inside of wpmu - if you have experience with buddypress and just want to adapt the design and functionality to fit the above description that is great - if you prefer to create a fully custom theme with the above functionality that is also acceptable. *****Additional criteria for site would be a "my videos" section included with the other areas above. Allowing users the ability to upload, send, share and store video files.
