Not just any coders: the unwashed, creepy nerds that still live in the basement of their parents. The highly unsocial. The Dracula of Enterprise Java, staying up late while the world is sleeping. The highly bizarre software engineers coding crap during the day for a regular job, playing obscure WoW servers in their spare time.
If you're looking for a regular programming gig... we are not offering one. Sorry. Look around, Scriptlance has plenty of them.
What we want is a few Barbarians ready to code as a part-time job. We are an American startup paying almost nothing as cash, but we're developer-friendly with stock options. If you don't know what stock options are... stop here.
Since it's a high risk, high reward proposition we STRONGLY discourage you from doing it as your main job. That's why we want the unsocial: the programmers that don't think software making is a 9-to-5 job, but rather a 24/7 passion (although we prefer to call it a vice...).
In brief: do whatever you have to do as your regular job. That's ok, we promise not to judge you ;-) but we want you in our team for 4 hours/day (20 hours/week) as a secondary job for you.
How will it work: we will pay you $100/week and we expect you to work part-time (i.e., about 4 hours/day). Every month you'll also get stock options that *IF* we make it (as we all hope) will be worth a lot (but then again, if we don't make it, the stock options will be useless, so it's a lot of risk - that's why it's better for you to only get involved as a second, part-time job).
