I am a keen amateur web designer. Why not, it's easy with Dreamweaver. But then when I discovered XsitePro 2, I thought I was in heaven. I could use templates or design a myriad of things myself. I could use great menu design tools in XsitePro 2 and create easily a site map. I could embed video and audio at the click of a mouse. But then I discovered that I wanted to write a blog site. Alas neither of these tools could do that. But that's OK I'll just install Wordpress and knock up my own theme right? WRONG!
Now I have to write CSS code and html and create placeholders for the gadgets, and god only knows what else. So I bought “Affilliate Theme” thinking this was the answer. WRONG? It just made things more complex for me.
OK so I'm an amateur, but I have some ability and knowledge - and I just can't work Wordpress out. So that means unless people understand how to design websites in Wordpress, they are going to have trouble writing a Blog site too.
What if there was a software out there that could write Wordpress Blogs just like XsitePro or Dreamweaver writes normal web sites? Now that would be something!
So here's the deal. If you are a very proficient programmer and have a vast knowledge of Dreamweaver, XsitePro, Affilliate theme and Wordpress and can write me up a Wordpress authoring tool that incorporated all of those softwares, I believe I'd have a tool that could write Blog Sites with the freedom andgraphical extravagance of any standard web site authoring tool and more.
The software would need to be able to insert the right code into the CSS stylesheet (or some other way) that enable graphics to represent Page Borders, and many other graphical benefits that a normal web site has.
Most importantly – it has to be as easily interfaced as XsitePro or Dreamweaver is for the average to beginner designer. Basically it would have a WYSIWYG view of the site as you added borders and side panels etc. And of course user friendly. We all know the best software relies on the help pages least!
I'm looking for a special programming dude(s). I'm under no illusions as to the mammoth task this will entail, but am prepared to work day and night with the right person or team – and pay the right bucks to make this happen!
Your expression of interest is sought, your CV of previous advanced programming work and an idea of timing and cost is greatly appreciated.
