I own an online forum that has thousands of members, all who have joined for free, but I'm ready to add a private paid area to the site as well as get some small issues fixed along the way. The person I choose for this must have quite a bit of experience with vbulletin software, know how to do custom coding with the php, add hacks for it, upgrade it to the latest version, etc. I'd love to find someone that is near me in Florida that can actually do the work in my home office, but I realize that may not be realistic. I've been paying a person $15 an hour and they've done a FANTASTIC job, but I've not been able to get in touch with them by phone, email, IM, etc., for about 6 weeks now and as much as I want to keep working with them, I can't just keep waiting and waiting when I have things that need to be done now on the site. So, I'm looking for a new person. This is my first project on this site. I noticed that the first two people to submit a bid placed the bid as a total cost for the entire project and I don't have any way of knowing how many hours it will take, so it would be very helpful for quotes to be given in what your hourly rate is please.
