Site MUST have functionality like |www . audiojelly. com|| but will serve different purpose. Please look at that site for what we want. PHP programming is OK - but certain parts of the site must be in flash (the audio player, the 'featured tracks' scroller, the 'exclusives' scroller, the 'news' scroller etc.) What is a scroller? See www. beatport. com and look at their main page. They have sections "featured", exclusives etc. You can scroll left and right.

1. Color scheme must be a clean, professional design. Easy to read and watch.

2. User Accounts

- Check username is valid (not duplicate, does not contain #-%$#! characters etc). This check is completed instantly as soon as user inputs name (do not have to hit "create account" then find out name is wrong.
- Check box to agree to terms/conditions. Terms/conditions check is editable in site backend.
- Once account has been created, next screen must give options to
- Resend confirmation email
- Enter payment info (paypal, credit card - this must be secure? Can you advice how we should proceed with credit card payment, which 3rd party site is OK? Balance MUST always be shown on main site you create. Let me know if you need further explination).

Browsing

Search

Type word in search text box, hit enter. Default lists "artists" category.
- User can click different categories and results will be shown (dont have to hit enter again (or click search button).
- Add various filter button to selection. Filter buttons can be set in admin control panel
- When more than X results are shown, just show text results with links to artist/track/genre etc. When less than X results are shown, display album art with play sample button, cost, add to playlist

Main Page

- Is set up similar to www. audio jelly. com, but has different color scheme and content. Sections "Featured", "Advertising" and "Exclusives" - all clickable links. Can scroll left or right on all these sections.
- Top downloads list on right side of screen (charts). Must be tabbed at top so user can select between different "top charts" lists
- Must be numbered, has play button, buy button, cost of track, album art

Music Player

- ALWAYS on top of page. Has playlist, buy button, cost of MP3 file, text info on track (name, title, album, length and date added).
- User can skip through the sample track by draggin time bar. Sample must load instantly when user presses "play" button.
- Playlist - user can add/remove tracks while listening to another track. See www. beatport. com as example or www. audio jelly.com. Playlist is FLASH.

Admin Area

- Add tracks, text, album art and MP3 sample all easily through backend
- Options to set track as "featured", "exlusive", cost, availability etc. Track will automatically be displayed on front page if it is "featured". If it is featured track needs a "large image/flash advertisement" that will be shown on front page if "featured" or "exclusive" is set.
- Option of FREE downloads, user does not have to login or register. Open to all. Secure downloads still.
- All advertisements, text, mp3s, categories etc are editable through backend
