Joomla site creation:

I have content (text as well as some original images) created for the domain I have purchased. This website is for people who are interested in birds and birdwatching, feeding birds, or nature in general. This website needs to be search engine optimized, professional looking (nice color combinations and graphics), and not too “busy”. I am a rookie to website design and have selected Joomla because I have read that it is easy to make content changes and updates. It does not need to be a custom template. The goal of the website is to attract people (and convert them) who are looking to purchase bird feeders, bird baths, bird books and other nature products. Quite simply, I want to be number 1 (or at least on page 1) on Google for a number of key word combinations revolving around this topic. This site will be an affiliate of an already-established ecommerce site, but will also sell some customized services. Elements of the website will include:

In addition to getting the site live, I will need a tutorial on how to manage the Joomla site by adding and changing content, etc. Please provide samples of your work. Thanks.
I would like the site up and running by March 1st. Good and consistent communication skills a must.
