I need to know the cost of building a complete site that allows users to upload HD ( high definition ) video content. The video they upload must generate an embeddable code to place on other sites and blogs. My competition would be such sites as http://www.blip.tv/ , http://vimeo.com/ , http://www.dailymotion.com/hd . I would like to purchase my own servers to host these videos. I will let users upload 1gb of video for free accounts per week and 5gbs of video for paying accounts. It would be great if you can tell me what size servers I would need and how many videos would fit on each. My company will have play a major part in the physical " look if the site' .
