- Description: I'm looking for someone who can take the stock and options data from yahoo finance on a daily basis (probably by using yahoo API) for selected stocks, pull it into a database script that calculates a few simple parameters, then posts into a password protected members only folder.
I'll have to get you the specific calculations after you accept the project because they cannot be posted.
The script would fetch the data from yahoo finance. It would take data such as the high, low, close and open of the day. From that data it would determine if the signal is valid. If the signal is valid an entry and stop loss would be a. posted to a web page b. emailed out to a email database kept by a membership manager (amember.com). That's it. Simple as that.
I'm guessing you'll need php and mysql knowledge. But you'll know what it takes.
Also If you can figure out how to pull the stock and option data for selected stocks and options then i'm assuming you can figure out how to pull forex data as well, daily and maybe even intraday. - Tags:
