I have an envisioned a gossip/celebrity news/game (think gawker stalker) app that leverages both a standard website and a mobile platform; I have basic business requirements. The purpose of this contest is to plan the approach and develop a design doc and functional spec. This document will be used the development contest on scriptlance. I don't want to enter a full dev cycle until I know what technologies and methods will be necessary.


Website
call the users phone and say for example "happy birthday" using a text to speech engine
store video, text messages, audio files.
complete questionnaires (think Cosmo mag's survey and questionnaires, could LimeSurvey be used to deploy these?)


Mobile Platform
receive, video, text messages from the cloud
send video, text messages to cloud
chat with friends,
send location info back to the cloud at regular intervals
invite a friend , using email or phone number
do a puzzle or game (soduko, etc. I want this to be an kind of open platform that could allow third parties to publish a game spec, xml maybe with source code embedded, to the server the game could then be used by the website or the mobile device)
