Business case
Our goal is to provide a more comprehensive look online for our client base to understand the reach, service capability, and overall quality that UGT offers. To do that, we are selling services in an expanded area and therefore need a better overview of the firm.

Changes

1. Home page layout, we need to make the site wider. I want to make the site have a great deal more information while providing a richer out look to the client. I like the flash idea, however want to move that to right, and have a left section that scrolls through client logos. Take a look at the following: http://www.netspt.com/index.php, the site has good flash to the left, and then this cycle through to the right. Remove the cycle through, and replace that with the logo cycle that is on the lower right hand side. We will need to adjust exactly what we are placing in the flash area so the message is more comprehensive. But the layout if the first key.
2. The menu. I want the logo and the toll free number above. Flash section and logo below that. Than the flash menu, what that will look like, I had some ideas and was interested in your perspective. You have the basic drop down menus such as http://www.surrex.com/ or you have the menus like http://www.modis.com/ that have the sub sections going horizontal on the page. Let me know what you think about that.
3. Home page layout below the header/flash areas. I think we will need to have a two section area. One to the left that is the majority of the page, but with a right hand column (shaded possibly) that will look like a http://www.techfluent.com/ or something along those lines.
4. Internal pages will need to have similar structure. I think that will depend on our home page set up, so we can discuss what that looks like once we really nail down the home page.
5. Map, I need a map that offers a better understanding of where we operate. UGT has had people on the ground doing projects in the US, UK, Chile, Canada, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, China, Phillipines, Czech Republic, and Ireland. I need a map that shows the world and then highlights areas we do business. Let me know your ideas on this.
6. Admin control – there are some changes we need here. I need to be able to add pages seamlessly. Add page from control panel under Services, that auto adds into the menu and I can place on the site. Content management vs full site control/design. Something that is simple and easy, point and add text with pre-determined formatting/layout, etc.
