This project would entail collecting names and contact information of editors and reporters (Media Contacts) at various media outlets such as newspaper, magazines, tv stations, radio stations. A large percentage of the media outlets will be located in the US, but not all.

The data to be collected would be:
First Name, Last Name, Title, Email, Phone #, Fax #, Mailing Address (street, city, state, zip code)

You would categorize the media contact/editor person into one or more groups, or topics, that they cover for the news, such as sports editor, travel editor, etc.

We would provide you with a list of media outlets to contact to obtain this information. Much of it you can research and find on the web. Otherwise we would require you to contact via phone or email to obtain the information.

There are approximately 15,000 media outlets. We would estimate that there are apprximately 5 media contacts per media outlet, so a total of 60,000 media contacts that would need to be collected.

We are looking for someone that has collected data of this nature in the past. You must be very efficient, be a good web researcher, have excellent communication abilities, and can speak, write, and spell English very well.

All information must be hand collected. You cannot purchase this data from another source and use it for this purpose.

You would be paid for each media contact where we receive all the information required. You would be paid every 2 weeks based upon the total media contacts completed during the previous 2 weeks.

You will be bidding on the price per media contact that you would charge us. Remember, each memdia contact may have up to 10-15 fields to fill in.Any costs incurred in the collection of the data, such as long distance charges, would be at your expense. So it would be best to utilize a free long distance service (ie Skype)

For bidders, please bid the amount it would cost us to collect the entire 60,000 media contacts.

EX) If you bid $3,000 for 60,000 media contacts, that will mean your price per media contact is $0.05 each (3,000 / 60,000 = .05). This is the per unit cost we would pay you on based upon the actual count you input.

We reserve the right to cancel the project at any time and withhold full payment if we find that the data you are inputting is not verifiable and of poor quality.
