	Description:	1.1General Notes ƒÜ There will be 2 players: ƒñ ƒñ One for Video Files. This player is in a pop up. The current player can be seen here: http://hitlab.com/popup?s=video&u=2&v=162. 1.2Audio Player Specifications The Audio player will be incorporated in the current web site. 1.2.1General The audio player must have these generic functionalities: ƒÜ Play, pause ƒÜ drag and drop position in time of video or song ƒÜ volume control 1.2.2Display Only when a first song is clicked does the player appear. This will allow the player to remain active while the user navigates through the site and adds songs to his playlist. It also allows the player to be always visible on the screen (a little like the facebook.com bottom pane used for chat and to see online friends). Technically for this to happen, we will open a new parent site which will contain 2 frames. The bottom frame (about 10% of the page) will contain the Audio Player. The player can be collapsed or made bigger by clicking on the small + or ¡V (depending on its current state). The look of the player can be seen in the screen shots section of this document. One of the reasons for the player not to be open on load is for the SEO not to be affected by this ¡§frame behaviour¡¨. The main page is still as is and is referenced as always was. 1.2.3Playlist The player possesses a playlist in the bottom right corner. When the user clicks on a + on the website, the song is added to the playlist. It must be possible to reorganize the playlist and to remove elements from the playlist. 1.2.4Rating It must be possible to give a rating to the song (1 to 5 stars). The user does NOT need to be logged in to do this. 1.2.5Current Album/Song Description On the upper left part of the player (when the player is maximized), we must be able to see the following informations: ƒÜ Thumbnail of the album/song (if clicked must link the upper frame to the artist page). ƒÜ List of songs of the album (with a link to add the song to the playlist)...if it is an album. For a song do not display album ƒÜ Name of the artist ƒÜ Name of the album/song 1.2.6Browser It must be possible to navigate in the following ways: ƒÜ Artist: When clicked, second column shows lists of artists. When one is selected, Third column shows albums. When one is selected the Current Album description is updated with this album ƒÜ Songs: When clicked, second column shows lists of songs (with scroll). When one is selected the Current Song description is updated with this song. ƒÜ Albums: When clicked, second column shows lists of albums. When one is selected the Current Album description is updated with this album ƒÜ Styles: When clicked, second column shows lists of styles. When one is selected, the third column shows lists of albums. When one is selected, the Current Album description is updated with this album. ƒÜ There will be a number of ranges (ex: 91-100, 81-90, 71-80, etc.). When a range is clicked, the second column shows the list of songs that have that rating. When one is selected the Current Song description is updated with this song. ƒÜ Good Ratings: Same as songs but ordered by ratings with the number of stars next to it. ƒÜ Mood: Same as style but for moods (will be done in second phase...not in DB) ƒÜ Interest:(will be done in second phase...does not exist) ƒÜ Good Reviews: Same as songs but ordered by reviews. (will be done in second phase...not in DB) ƒÜ My Friends Recommendations: Same as Good Ratings but only with subset of friends.(will be done in second phase...not in DB) 1.3Video Player Specifications The video player will be kept as is but will simply updated to match the look of the rest of the site.
