Video Battle Type Website

The website will work similar to a hot or not script however it will enable users to sign up and socialize amongst each other however the overall focus to the site will be to have each member vote on videos. Now, there will be 2 different accounts, Fans, and contenders. Contender accounts are accounts that the user uploads, his/her video to a specific category where that video enters the cycle of voting from the fans. Each month there will be a featured contender who has won the voting for that month. When the contender signs up they need to go through a form where they will need to accept the terms and agreement, which will be different from the fans terms. Now, the fan accounts will work just like a social network but have a few features where they can promote their favorite contender videos to friends, etc…

So, overall the website will be just like a social network but have 2 different accounts and the main focus will be on voting for that contenders within the different categories. When the fan signs up he/she needs to choose a favorite category that he/she when they sign into their account will be presented with the battle of 2 contender videos, once they have voted they have full access to their account and can move on to vote for other category contenders etc…

The script must be able to handle massive amounts of traffic without flaw. Superior LAMP skills needed.
