    Intro:

I want to make a text based game, on which players can register and play the game. A prime example to give an idea of the coding involved, is this Mafia text based game: http://infamousgangsters.com/
The game's currency will be British Pounds.

I am not a coder, but I imagine this will require HTML, PHP, and SQL/MySQL (I don't know the difference).

I'd need a simple layout for the site, nothing too flashy at all.
The difficult part would be the coding, to get it all to work.

The game will be based around a role play of a Businessman.
There will be Businesses, wages, shares sold and many other features.

    -------------
    -------------
    Ranks:

Skill ranks, for various education gained skills.
Experience ranks, gained by joining a business on the game.

Their skill ranks, experience ranks, and business hirer will be available on their CV page. (Basically a profile page, but CV format)

    -------------
    -------------
    Main Pages:

On the 'Education' page, there will be many options to choose from, and doing each one would increase a certain skill (depending on their choice), and they will only be able to do each option, once every set period of time.

On the 'Jobs' page, they will be able to do certain jobs.
Each Job will depend on a certain skill. The higher their rank is, for a skill, the more money (£'s) they will earn for a job requiring that skill.

On the 'Business' page, when a player has certain skill levels, they will be able to create a business, and employ people. Once a player is employed, the income from the jobs they do will double.
50% of the employed players income will return to he/she.
10% will go to the businesses bank.
60% remaining, will be split between the business owner, and the employee (the amount of that 60% that the player receives, is their wage which is set/agreed upon applying to join the business.

    -------------
    -------------
    Businesses:
As each business will specialise in a certain skill (when a player makes a business, they will be able to choose which type of business)
Being in a business will increase the employees rank, in that specialised skill.

    -------------
    -------------
    Business Bank:

The business banks money, will NOT be able to be withdrawn. It can only be used for:
    A) To increase business training (higher rate of rank increase, for employees skill)
    B) To increase facilities. Each business can only take on a certain amount of player employees, depending on its facilities level.

    -------------
    -------------
    Shares:

The Business Owner owns 100% of his income, from the business.

If a Player buys a 20% share of the business. The amount (£'s)he paid for the shares goes to the business owner.
The Player, who bought the shares, would get that percentage of the Business Owners income.
Whoever owns more than 50% of the shares, automatically owns the company.

If the business owner, owned 100%, and a shares buyer bought 51%,
The shares buyer would automatically own that company, as he bought more than 50% of the company.
The previous Business Owner who sold the shares, would automatically own 49% shares in that business, as he only sold 51% of his business, and kept 49%.

    -------------
    -------------

These are a few of my ideas.
