- Description: Looking for someone to help me setup and configure a transparent linux box in bridge mode. What I am looking to do is place a linux box (in transparent mode so not to affect the speed) between our network switch and our dsl router to monitor the ip traffic and use iptables to disable users by ip or mac address. Would also like to have ntop (or something similar) installed to report ip traffic by ip address.
