I need a library that I can use from .Net applications.

The goal is to acquire images for an external device (a Camera).

The camera brand or model is not yet chosen, so you may choose a device you are comfortable working with. The requirements for the cameras are image quality above 4 megapixel and mounting screw (most cameras has this).

The library will be run from a .Net Windows Forms application, but will not interact with the user. At specific times a method will be called:

- where theImageAcquireLibrary is the name of the library.


of course the Library must be instanced - could be this way, but other proposals are welcome

I prefer the language c#, but C/C++ or other can do as well.
