- Description: I'm looking for some help with a simple customization for a magento installation.
What I need:
The ability to set a minimum purchase requirement for checkout.
If user attempts to checkout without meeting the requirement an alert or error message comes up informing them of the minimum purchase requirement and checkout is not allowed.
*User should be able to access the shopping cart for review or editing, but would be unable to proceed to the checkout steps.
Minimum purchase requirement needs to be set by customer group so that each group could have a different requirement. Also, I need to be able to set the minimum requirement by total dollar amount, or total quantity of items depending on the customer group.Additional Info (Added 1/19/2009 at 18:53 EST)...Obviously I'm just learning Magento which is why I'm looking for help with this feature. I found the built in option to add a minimum purchase requirement within magento.
What I still need:
-The ability to set the minimum order by customer group.
-The ability to choose to set the minimum by order total OR total quantity of items in cart. - Tags:
