This is a project piece being outsourced to US based freelancers and firms who can complete this project with great quality, quickly and be available for future projects and support of this one as well (under seperate briefs of course...not trying to tie you to too much now, just letting you know where it's going).
This project requires a video upload and encoding system, using FFMpeg and the related tools. What we are doing is working on a system to allow users to upload video clips that are encoded on the system and turned into flash video, much like Youtube and the other 8 million clones do. If you have an out of the box solution, that's fine as long as it's something written well. Being a scriptlance programmer, I've seen a lot of bad code and even fixed a lot of it so please keep quality in mind. I will have a complete project brief written and added soon. For now the main points are:
-Flash based video play back
-Simple upload and encoding
-Mysql Database backed
-Written with PHP as the main scripting language for the site (it's what the site will be written with)
-We want to be able to track the number of plays each video gets, not just view.
Note:
-Only US based bidders will be considered.
-Do not bid extremely low to get my attention. I know how that works and I ignore it.

-Only full project bids, not time based.
-This is not a one time deal. We are building up a network of teams to outsource work to. We are looking for great work and great people.
