- Description: I'm looking for a web site that has the blog functionality like www.huffingtonpost.com. Obviously I don't want this site to like look like her's for obvious reasons. It's for a particular industry (non-political) which I will let you know after you are the programmer chosen.
I'm not sure if I use a blog system already created or create something from scratch.
I have other blog writers that want to join me in my blog. They will have their own space and access to upload their own articles. I will want an e-mail confirmation every time they post their own stories.
I want places for advertisements to generate revenue including the ability to place ads on my colleagues pages. Those ads on my colleagues pages will share in the ad revenue.
Each new article posting will always be on top. Also, a horizontal scroll of pictures done in flash will need to be created. Each photo will represent each story written. I want to be able to update that horizontal scroll with new pictures and delete old ones. I guess that is done through Flash/XML.
It can be PHP/MySQL or .NET/MSSql based. No preference.Additional Info (Added 1/14/2009 at 19:34 EST)...I guess the program of choice I should use is WordPress? Any WordPress experts out there? - Tags:
