Remote Control a Nikon Coolpix s710 camera for a Kiosk. The application will need to control the camera via USB cable. Functions would be Focus, Zoom, Take Picture, Power on/off or Maintain a powered on state. When picture is taken it will need to be transferred to application and stored. Record of the picture will need to be stored in a SQL MSDE database. I also need to stream the preview to the form of the application before the picture is taken.
Second, I need a web interface to display the pictures and print the selected photos.
This is how the kiosk will work:
1. The patron will stand in front of the camera
2. They will see themselves on the screen overhead
3. When they are happy with what they see they will press a button.
4. The camera will focus and take the picture.
5. The picture will be saved to the hard drive and added to the database
6. I will then access the database via web page to review the picture
7. The picture to be printed is selected and a print button will be pressed
8. The server/camera controlling workstation will then print the picture.
