I need an *exact* copy of wankspider.com.
As you can see, the script spiders several "tube" sites. It spiders the indexes of these sites, downloads the thumbnails, and stores the movie details (rating, length, ...) in mysql.
Templates should be used for the output, so that the design can be adjusted easily (I am familiar with smarty, but you can suggest and use another template system).
The details for the spider configuration should be stored individually for each spidered site, so that new sites can be added easily (like a plugin system).
Spidering can be done for example through a set of cron jobs. To keep the server resources low, it would be good to have the script spider individual sites separately at different times.
Deliverable will be a demo on your server that has the same functions as the above mentioned site. I don't want to do lengthy debugging sessions, that's your job (had some bad experiences with that in the past). Demo must spider the same sites that are used on the above mentioned site.
I prefer communication via instant messenger and am available to you for questions on the project message board.
Should I see that this request does not get relevant replies, I will close the project and try somewhere else.
Additional Info (Added 1/15/2009 at 8:17 EST)...I was asked for a list of sites that should be spidered. the sites are shown on the above mentioned site, but it is a good idea to add this to the project description.
