- Description: We have a site designed at the moment in drupal which basically does the following -
Two types of user (Public / Dealer)
Dealers can register answer a few questions and have to be approved via admin. Once approved these dealers can log into their account and select from a list of vehicles the makes and models they are interested in purchasing. Also the maximum age and mileage they will consider.
Public users then sign up - and can fill in a form to offer their vehicle to the network of dealers including adding a photo.
Once they have completed the information they are then requested for payment via paypal for the vehicle details to be emailed to all the registered dealers that are interested in the vehicle offered.
The system will automatically send an html email listing all the vehicle details and the contact details of the customer.
The public user should be able to log into their account at any time and remove a listing if the vehicle is sold. Also the listings will only ever stay live for 14 days.
Dealers should also be able to log into the system at any point and view all the vehicles that are currently being offered via the system.
The drupal system we have at the moment has been doing the job but seems to be having lots of problems... pages not loading etc.
