I have a business directory that I am currently building and want to get it in shape.
Existing code is in Joomia and PHP framework build from Joomla Structure and Joomla Component and Module Coding, existing CMS.
You must have experience in the above. Would like someone who has business directory experience so that they can make suggestions on optimizing the site. Good command of English is helpful. Will consider all or part of the work below done in one job.

1. I'd like to make the site more SEO friendly; I have a SEO report with some suggestions.

2. I'd like to make the site more User friendly. Manage categories better and search better. In the front end and in admin panel. There are pictures that are uploaded by business owners and when a person browses the picture with his cursur , I'd like the balloon to pop up explaining what type of business it is like they do on netflix.com. You scroll over a movie an balloon pops up explaining the movie.

3. I'd like to make the site search listings via zip code, city, state, neighborhood, proximity, and hours of operation. Meaning search businesses that are nearby and open now.
I do not own a zip code database or zip code service.
Will consider Goggle Map API for set coordinates for each object in the database. Search by zip and/or address or set position manual on map. In search user will enter zip or address and search all object in radius for 1-100 miles (this is configured)
I am not looking for just the US, Am looking for Canada and other countries.
And will view all objects as markers in map.


4.There is an existing business registration form I'd like to edit and make more user friendly. I'd like the business registration form to begin like the registration process of Google Adwords. Whereby the user enters the business name and telephone number and the script searches the database and web for businesses that closely match the details entered. Then the user clicks on the correct business amongst the choices given then the script prefills sections of the registration form. I.e. Business name, telephone number and address.

5. 'Business Registration center has been created but I want to add a 'Partner Section' and 'Members section' these are separate login with different privileges. Partners registers and manages multiple businesses and Members create a profile and review businesses.

6.Create and manage multiple cities in the admin so that the new cities created in the admin will appear in the front end. For instance if I have a database of New York business and I want to create a searchable database of businesses in Paris. I can "create a city' in the admin and it will create a separate database for Paris.
