My website has just been redesigned by one of the fine designers here. It is not quite completed yet, but should be going live within the next few days.

Currently the site is 64th (.co.uk) in google for the term "money managers" 1st in yahoo and 4th on msn.

Before i start some offline marketing I need the site to be number 1 on those 3 search engines for the company name (uk and full web versions).

This should be quite easy as the old version of the site never even mentioned the term "money managers". I don't think I need to be spending lots of money on this.

It needs to be done in a totally "white hat" method. Please let me know how you plan to do this, and how long you think it will take. It's quite likely that the new site will help the rankings anyway as the keyword is used far more often. I'd appreciate advice on keyword density for the homepage, and of course want to see some new anchored backlinks to the site.


Furthermore I would like to see some of the internal pages ranked for certain terms. Once the site is #1 for the company name I want to start work straight away on the internal pages. Therefore there will be lots more work at the end of the project if succesfully completed.

Just to make it clear.... :)

I don't want a report on keywords/competitor analysis/whatever etc etc.......

I want a quick look at the new home page to make sure its correctly optimised for the term "MONEY MANAGERS".

I want links or whatever you feel is appropriate to take the site to #1 for the company name.

It is not a competitive term and this should be a fairly simple job. Please people, some of these bids are just getting silly. I don't need to see these stupid bids.

I'm not asking for a competitive term to be optimised. The site is already #1 in yahoo without any links or optmisation.

I just want the home page checked for optimisation for the company name (which it already is) and some anchored relevant links.
