To be successful, This website would need to acquire a connection to a GDS (global distribution system) host to run on.

we have two choices:

1- Each GDS such as "amadeus" exposes a toolkit which simplifies development. However, it ties you to that GDS.

2- Another option is to go with a transport level toolkit such as Innosys. Development is a bit more complicated, but you can run against any GDS including the internal GDS systems of many airlines. This would enable us to by-pass GDS fees by doing a direct connect.

I prefer to go with option 2.
