- Description: I have website for my www.domain.com in dreamhost.com shared hosting. i want to have my own jabber server for my www.domain.com.
i need to know which of the followings are possible in my current situation.
1. Is it possible to install Jabber in dreamhost server for my domain. they provide SHELL access for the root?
2. if the above method not possible, is it possible to have my www.domain.com hosted in dreamhost and jabber installed in another VPS server and anyone who wants to connect to your jabber server, need only reference it by www.yourdomain.com.
If all of them not possible, what u can advice?
