We own a Magic The Gathering Online Smart Trade Bot. We purchased this bot from the developer about 4 or 5 months back. He was supposed to make some chnages before he gave us the source code. He did not hold up his end of our agreement, so now I am stuck with software I paid a lot of money for but cant use it because of the security risk it poses with him able to control our accounts, and because he did not remove and change the stuff he was supposed to.

The bot works great so I dont need any new functionality. I beleive there is about 35000 lines of code total. Below you will find a list of the modifications I need.

1 We require that all of the hidden functions be changed to only allow our accounts to access these features.
1.1 We will need documentation on how these functions work.

2 We need the script to work with all usernames.
2.1 Currently it sends a request to a website for user authentication

3 We want all of the source code functions documented so next time the script will be easier to update.

4 This software was used to steal cards from people. We need the developer to go over it and make it safe for us to use by changing the remote admin features to only work with our accounts, and by stopping any outgoing/incomming communication to webservers. The only communication should be when we have the script go download the new pricelists, and for it do download updated pricelists you need to physically tell the software to connect and get the new pricelists.

5 We need the ability to use two formats of pricelists. Currently it only uses one format. We create our own pricelists and would like to be able to use them on our bots.

6 We need an update that will allow the bot to buy the newest sets of cards. Currently it is missing the last 3 or 4 sets that were released.

This software and source code was sold to us a few months back, and then they were caught stealing peoples cards so we did not use the software and could not trust the developer to make the changes we paid for. We were going to have him do the full project which would include rewriting a lot of this applications code. Long story short we would like to find someone who can complete this. Then after this is complete we would like to re-hire you to start rewriting a lot of its functionality. This is a personal bot, we run a business and need a more robust system. Whoever here gets the contract will have the ability to work with us in the future in finishing this application. That work will require a lot of man hours and we will pay very well if we have a quality developer to take on this task.
