My suppliers provide a number of CSV files on their website each day which lists available stock at that point in time for each manufacturer I sell – I would like to be able to link my website stock quantities to that CSV file so if something is out of stock with my supplier it shows as out of stock on my website and, likewise, if its in stock with my supplier then it shows as in stock with me. As I mostly do drop shipping I have been having problems with customers ordering from me and then when I come to order from the suppliers the item is out of stock or discontinued and I cant allow this to continue as its damaging my business. The CSV only has three fields – item code, desc and qty where each item code represents an attribute combination.

I believe that to do this I will need to add QTPro to my website so I can track quantities on an attribute basis (as thats also how its done on the supplier site) – over and above that the functionality would be something like this:

* Allowing customers to order out of stock items will need to be set to on
* Functionality should be able to be turned on and off by item as some items we stock and don't dropship (at the moment we use products extra fields to add the supplier name to an item but maybe this can be hard coded as a field so it can be queried so it only applies to items from that supplier?)
* Functionality should not majorly modify how core OSC works so it doesn't impact other contributions etc

* If an item and its options are not listed or are ALL shown as out of stock on the CSV then that item it should be removed from display on my site totally (set to out of stock)
* If any given options for an item are not listed or are shown as zero in stock then that option on the product needs to reflect that – there needs to be an in stock and out of stock indicator per attribute (e.g. Blue – In stock; Red – Out of stock; Green – In Stock) but customer should still be allowed to buy out of stock items if they choose
* Updates should happen once every 24 hours during the night – i.e. doesn't need to check per query as the CSV file is only updated once per day

You must have experience of how OSC works, have previously worked on OSC and be happy working on quite a heavily modded OSC install (RC2).

Please give me a price for the coding AND installing QTPro, however, I may choose to install QTPro myself between now and going live with the project.Please note: QTPro is now installed on my store and will NOT be required to be installed as part of the project - in addition, all work will need to be proven and tested on my test store and then moved and uploaded to live store once I am happy it works as I expect etc.
