- Description: I need a scroller to pull information from a mysql database and display it as a ticker tape. I think the database will have to write to a javscript readable file, probably using php.
The site is a trade portal and I want the scroller to display the latest members by their category.
The output would be like this,
Agriculture - Acme Farming, World Wide Farms etc. Business- AAA Industries, Microsoft etc, Mining - Global Mining, Gold Mins Inc. etc. Each company name would be clickable and directed to the company profile published on my site. These profiles already exist.
I would want them to be the newest members within a given period, so something like all new members from the last 7 days for example.
I want as smooth a scroll as possible and I should be able to match my sites colors.
