My website is http://www.satellitetvsystems.org/. Comment Boxes are on all pages except the homepage (state/city pages in template). There have been a lot of spam comments throughout the site. All comments should be deleted. Then we could put a put a Flag Comment below each comment. When it gets clicked 3 times, then it is automatically deleted.
If webmaster clicks “Flag Comment” it is deleted on the first time. People should not be able to leave comments on different pages (ip check) The person leaving comment should be able to Edit Delete there own comment after posting. Above comment box change text to (max. 1000 characters – please no spam or links to outside sites)
Outside links should not be allowed. This should be added:
Helpful Review? [Yes] [No] << Buttons. Can only click yes, no on one page per IP and only click yes, no once per review
Rank of comment based on Yes/(Yes + No) , highest % first, than by date (most recent higher) If first 5 people say No, delete it. Or if there is only 1 positive review out of first 10 reviews, then it should automatically be deleted also. Can't click your own review (based on IP)
Please let me know of other methods that would be included in your bid. There may be a spam detector that would automatically delete extremely spammy comments. (ex. Ljjljkjljlkj like on this page - http://www.satellitetvsystems.org/compare-to-cable.html) If you think it should be done a different way or other improvements, please indicate how you would do it. I would like to make it easy for people to comment (like it is now), but reduce the spam.
