attached is short version of the rules and how the game should be working. More detailed version will be provided to the person with the winning bid

Rules of “the game”

1 Every game runs for few weeks and for X number of rounds. Each round has a deadline decided by admin.
2 Every member must pick 1 out of 20 teams from a drop down list for every round before the deadline.
3 Admin decides what teams advanced to next round manually.
4 All members who picked correct team in round 1 advance to round 2, but those who did not pick correct team or did not pick a team before the deadline are eliminated from this game
5 Members who advanced can pick from same drop down list as before, but they cannot pick the same team as they have already picked.
6 Steps 2-5 repeated again and again until there is only 1 member left.


Member must be able to see following things on his login page:
Numbers of total participants in current game, and how many are left in current round
Deadline for next round
Which teams he have picked so far
After the deadline has passed, they must be able to see how many members have picked each team in current round

Numbers of participants and in what place the member finished in every game he have taken part in




Example:

User ABC registers to a game. There are 1000 participants and the deadline for round 1 is 15:00 CET on january 1st.
User ABC picks team Hull. After the deadline has passed he can login to see that:

505 members picked Manutd
205 members picked Arsenal
140 members picked Chelsea
50 members picked Tottenham
30 members picked Aston Villa
30 members picked Everton
20 members picked Liverpool
20 members picked Hull

Then admin decides what teams won in round 1 according to real live results of the teams, and decideds the deadline for round 2 which is 15:00 CET January 4th.

Only Chelsea, Aston Villa and Hull won of those teams, so 190 members qualify for round 2, including User ABC

When User ABC logs in when round 2 has been created he can see that he is one of 190 members left.

So in round 2 he can pick between all teams in the list, except Hull which he picked in round 1. In round 2 he picks team Manutd. After the deadline has passed he can login and see that

100 members picked Arsenal
40 members picked Manutd
30 members picked Tottenham
20 members picked Liverpool

Then admin decides what teams won in round 2 according to real live results of the teams, and decideds the deadline for round 2 which is15:00 CET January 10th.

In round 2 only Tottenham and Liverpool won, so 50 members go to round 3

When User ABC logs in now, he sees that he was eliminated in round 2 and finished game 1 in place 51-190


When game 1 finishes, it goes into Archives – where User ABC can look at round 1 of game 1, and see that he picked Hull, and how many members picked each team in that round. Then he can also take a look of round 3 and see that he picked team manutd, and how many picked each team in that round. He can also take a look at round 3, round 4 etc. And see how many members picked each team in each round.


Now when User ABC has been eliminated from game 1, he can join a new game, for example game 5, where same rules apply. 1 year later when User ABC has played in many games, he can still login and see every round for game 1 and other games he have taken part in.
