- Description: I have a control file which lists descriptions, identifiers, and names of specific applications I host in a mobile download application. I need 3 small pages which follow a template to be auto-created for each of the packages.
Example: I post an app called "Moonscape Monthly" which in the control file has an identifier of "moonscapemonthly". The PHP would automatically be created for moonscapemonthly.php and moonscapemonthly.d.php. The pages follow a template which I already have created. The only magic I need is 3 things:
> The pages being auto-created (ONCE per package) based on the identifier from the main control file (which is at a non-changing URL).
> The descriptions being auto-pulled from the control file and input into the page template automatically.
> One of the two pages needs to display any images in a specific dir named the same as the identifier with a specific convention after (e.g. moonscapemonthly-1.png, moonscapemonthly-2.jpg, etc) in the template. So if I put 4 images in the images dir with moonscapemonthly-[number].[png, gif, or jpg], the PHP will auto-include these 4 images in the page it creates.
This is a high traffic site, so minimum bandwidth is required - I don't want the PHP polling the control file and images dir every single time a page is accessed - one time per page. If I need to have the code tweaked, I will manually adjust the auto-created page later. So the PHP you write needs to remember what pages its already made, and not recreate them. - Tags:
